I thought I was inviting us all to pursue holiness, in some of the same ways the Baptismal Covenant does, but I thought I was also pretty clear that we are lost and need to be found by Christ and empowered and transfigured by the Spirit.<br /><br />The more we strive to observe the Gospel, the more we realize how short we fall.
